Mitt – Palette

by · November 13, 2012

Mitt’s cheapest obstacle, the „paleta”, or „palette” in English, seems to be their basic item, but not at all that cheap looking. This obstacle is quite similar to the Blackriver’s palette but has a cheaper price. There are some minor differences explained further in.

Mitt Obstacle

While digging back through my old ramps, I found this little guy and it got to me that it should be reviewed. I think it is one of those ramps that you, as a beginner wanted, just to see how it’s crafted and made. From first glimpse of when I saw it, I thought that it was a solid product. Everything looks in its place.

The craftsmanship surprised me. For a low price of 12.00PLN, or $4, I had my hopes quite low when unboxing. After the immense packaging that comes with quick shipping worldwide was on my floor, I immediately said: “Wow”… Great finish and it feels like you have something in your hands. The weight is quite normal but the nice smooth wood definitely shows some expertise.  All the wooden sheets are laid straight and don’t bend which is a good thing for sure.

Overall, it’s a great obstacle for the price for just about anything. Good for using under a ramp to add height or just something neat to do tricks over! A great addition to any skatepark for sure and definitely worth 4 bucks! 😉
